The main objectives for Mini Agro Processing Unit :
To enhance Food and Nutrition Security
To enhance farmers income
To facilitate import substitution
To generate employment opportunity
The Mini Agro Processing Unit at Yusipang was established recently It processes surplus fruits and vegetables into juice, wine, jam, pickle, cookies, muffin, potato chips and many more. It is operated by the youth group of Yusipang composed of 8 members. On 29th July 2022, Dasho Dzongda, Sector Heads and Gewog official visited the site.
