The general public and all firms are hereby informed that dumping of construction waste in Waste Collection Facilities (WCF) is strictly prohibited.
It has been observed that construction waste from an Education Consultancy and Placement Firm has been illegally disposed of at the Bjemina WCF. Such actions are in violation of waste management regulations and negatively impact the proper functioning of the facility.
Any individual, firm, or organization found dumping construction waste in WCFs shall be penalized by the Dzongkhag Environment Officer in accordance with the applicable rules and regulations.
The concerned consultancy firm is requested to visit the Thimphu Dzongkhag Administration Office (Environment Sector) at the earliest for necessary clarification and follow-up action.
